Pastor Tim and Sheridan McLauchlin have been married for 26 years. Their adult children are Lexa and T.C.(and Rachel).
After struggling with drugs and alcohol for many years, God radically delivered Pastor Tim and he felt God’s calling to ministry. In 2001, while attending a ministry leader’s conference, the Lord specifically spoke to him about helping people who were struggling with drug and alcohol addictions. He served first as a lay minister, then as an associate pastor for 8 years. During those years, Sheridan served alongside Pastor Tim in ministry and homeschooled their children. Pastor Tim has been credentialed with the Assemblies of God since 2006.
In 2009, Pastor Tim and Sheridan launched Adult and Teen Challenge of the Upper Cumberland and grew the ministry into a 24-bed facility on a 49-acre campus. A large portion of that ministry included traveling to churches for Sunday services where Pastor Tim preached the gospel. Pastor Tim has a strong healing anointing, and he and Sheridan flow together well with the leading of the Holy Spirit in ministry.
After a time of prayer and fasting in January 2021, Pastor Tim and Sheridan felt the leading of the Lord into a transition. They continued to earnestly seek the Lord’s direction into the Spring, praying for God to open the door to where He wanted them to go. After visiting Life Church and being unanimously voted in, Pastor Tim became the Senior Pastor in November 2021. Pastor Tim and Sheridan’s heart is for reaching the local community and the region with the love of Jesus and the life-transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
